What is the difference between an Eau de Cologne, Eau de Toilette, and Cologne Mist?

The difference is the amount (%) of fragrance oil to the % of alcohol.  An Eau de Toilette has a higher concentration of fragrance oils and less alcohol than an Eau de Cologne.  A Cologne Mist has the least concentration of oils.   The higher the concentration of oil, the longer your fragrance will last, and the fewer times you will need to re-apply.

What is the best way to store my fragrance?

Keep all fragrances in a cool, dry, dimly-lit or dark area. Exposure to sunlight/heat may cause the various ingredients to become imbalanced and may cause your fragrance to discolor (if in a clear bottle) and/or change the scent.

How long will my fragrance last?

It is best to use fragrance within 2 years of purchase, however, fragrances can generally last much longer than this, if stored properly.

What are fragrance notes?

Fragrances are comprised of many different ingredients.  These ingredients are called “notes.” These "notes" are skillfully combined to make unique fragrance creations. Fragrance notes are often broken down into three parts, Top, Middle and Base.

Top notes are perceived immediately after applying your fragrance These notes are usually light and fresh and evaporate quickly.  As the fragrance continues to develop, the Middle notes become apparent and can last for several hours.  These notes are known as the "heart" of the fragrance.  The middle notes blend with the Base notes of the fragrance.  The Base notes provide long-lasting richness and enhance the overall character of the fragrance.  These are the notes that last the longest.  The final result is a well-balanced blending of all ingredients.
